[edit] Time for another re-write
Typical. Just as I finish a major update to this article, the dev team go and change it all again. :P --Pendrako talk 17:10, 4 August 2007 (CDT)
[edit] Trainer?
The article mentions players may have to visit a trainer to learn an action. Last I checked, we'd confirmed theres no need for trainers.
[edit] Levelling
Should we add a section like that? There are a few different ways to level up, like taking quests, doing RvR repeatables or PQs. These might be useful for the majority of people. –Đont*talK 10:22, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Morale, tactics and masteries
The article speaks about limits to aquirable tactics and morale skills. In which manner are these limited, besides the limitation brought by the mastery system? The article says that 18/30 tactics can be learned, but the masteries only limit out a few, so I want to know what limits out the rest. Renown trainers? Something else? (yeah, haven't played too much yet and can't get online)
Also, there's a mention of resetting the things somehow in the morale skills section, but no information on that. I guess this is basically just resetting your mastery path and renown trainer stuff, but some real info would be good. So basically, how is this resetting done, what does it cost/require and what does it do?
I could probably find this stuff out somewhere else, but for the sake of the wiki this information also needs to be found here. --

- Meh, everyone is editing ToK achievements and doesn't care about the basics at all. The wiki just doesn't serve needs of players new to the system at all. --

- If you think it's a immediate need, and no one else is taking the initiative to add the information to the article, take care of it yourself.
- Everyone here's adding articles and content that they feel are worthwhile, that they feel comfortable adding to the project, and that interest them. If you think something's important and should be added, and voice that belief, well that's great. But with all due respect, don't complain if it doesn't get done. Especially if you don't take the initiative to add it yourself. -- Heaven's Agent 19:20, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
- You don't quite understand my situation here. I would add it if I knew what to add. The reason why I'm asking here is that I have no clue at all about these things, and there is no place to find the info.
- Don't lecture me about the wiki system and "don't tell others what to add if you don't yourself". I know well what the system is after contriburing to a multiple wikis through my life. Unfortunately I just don't have the knowledge of the game that is required to help with these important articles. --

- Don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming you. My point it, if you don't know what to add, what makes you think anyone else who would read your comment does? I know I don't know enough about the topic to add to it.
- Look at it this way. Perhaps the reason the information hasn't been added yet is that no one fully understands the information in question; no one feels informed enough to add to it. Someone's going to have to do the research to discover the information, but that will take time and effort. If you're not willing to put in that time and effort, don't expect others to.
- I don't care if you've contributed to multiple wikis in your life. To be honest, you've probably been a wiki contributer on various projects longer than me. But you seem to have forgotten one of the basic concepts behind the functioning of wikis: everyone working here is a volunteer, and as such we are not beholden to anyone in regard to what aspect of the project we decide to contribute to. As I said, voicing a concern is great. But don't complain if others fail to show initiative in certain aspects of the project, especially if you fail to show that same initiative yourself. -- Heaven's Agent 21:01, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
- You definitely took my second message on this page too seriously. :) Anyway, I'm working towards getting the knowledge on this things in the game, but I'm sure that there are plenty of high rank players out there who know everything already since it's such basic information. Og well, I'm off again to adventuring and finding the answers. --
