Nurglings are tiny, mischievous daemons, resembling a chubby miniaturized version of a Great Unclean One. They normally appear in large numbers.
Occasionally very dedicated champions of Nurgle will become infested with Nurglings, which will live in gaping wounds and orifices on the champion's body; when the champion comes under attack, these will help defend their "home".

[edit] Tome Text
The tiny Daemons known as Nurglings spread disease and mayhem amongst the enemies of Grandfather Nurgle. Nurglings are rarely found alone, and will band together in swarms of filthy teeth and claws, enabling them to bring down a target many times thier size.
Nirglings are cowardly creatures, especially given their size. Gibbering and capering across the battlefield, the lesser Daemons sow disease and ruin wherever their polluted limbs touch.
The stench of death hung heavy in the air, and it was all we could do to keep our stomachs. The village had succumbed to the plague; not a soul had been spared. Even the cows in the fields were nothing more than festering corpses. There was more at work in this village than met the eye.
I sent Sergeant Messner to take a closer look at the fields. A few moments later, his cries of horror were accompanied by a loud chittering sound. As we rushed to his aid, we spied dozens of small creatures erupting from the bodies of the cows, all covered in mucus like sick parodies of newborn calves. As I witnessed their capering and heard their gibbering laughter, I doubled over and wretched until I could scarcely move.
