Man Tactics are unlocked from the tome of knowledge by completing Bestiary tome unlocks.
Certain unlocks in this category will reward a Man Tactic Fragment. When enough of these fragments have been unlocked, a Man Tactic will also be unlocked. Once unlocked, the player must travel to the Library in their capital city to purchase the tactic. Once purchased, these tactics can be equipped in a Tome Tactic slot.

Start. The first Man Tactic (Manly Scheme) is a good tome tactic to start with for Order. Two Level 17+ Characters (or One Level 22+ Character) can gather these two Tactic Fragments relatively quickly:
- "Off With His ..." involves talking to an NPC in Barak Varr (Dwarf Tier 2 zone).
- "Wanted!" involves killing a level 17 Champion in Ostland (Empire Tier 2 zone).
Once these two actions have been accomplished, travel to the Library at Altdorf and talk to the Ability Trainer on the first floor.
