Administrators or staff are trusted users granted access to tools that normal users don't have, so that they can better contribute to the wiki, clean up vandalism, delete pages where necessary etc. Administrators are here to help normal users and keep the wiki running smoothly. If you need to contact an administrator there are the following:
HammerWiki staff:
These are active HammerWiki users with administrator rights specifically on HammerWiki, contact them first.
- User:Bishop (sysop, beaurocrat) - The senior active staff member.
- User:Pendrako (sysop)
- User:Revoran (sysop)
Other staff to contact:
As HammerWiki is a part of Wikia, Wikia staff have administrator access across all Wikia wikis, including HammerWiki. Also, Wikia helpers and janitors could help.
- User:KyleH is the community manager for Wikia gaming.
- User:Angies is the general manager for Wikia gaming.
- User:Angela is the overall manager of Wikia's community and co-founder of Wikia.

[edit] Types of administrators
There are several levels of administrator:
- Sysops are administrators, they have the power to protect pages from editing, deleted pages and files, block users and edit protected pages themselves.
- Beaurocrats have the power to add (only Wikia staff can remove them) sysops and other beaurocrats, in addition to those described above.
- As mentioned before, Wikia staff have administrator access, and some have beaurocrat access.

[edit] Dealing with administrators
Though they have authority to perform administrative actions on the wiki, administrators are not "above" anyone and cannot simply go about blocking users and deleting pages left and right (they must follow HammerWiki Policies). Normal users are free to revert administrator edits / recreate deleted pages, however it may be a good idea to discuss it on the talk page (such as this one) of the administrator first - if you think they might have a problem with it.
If you have a problem with a user (which cannot be solved by discussion), see a sysop, if you have a problem with a sysop, see a beaurocrat, and if you have a problem with a beaurocrat, see a Wikia staff member.
[edit] Becoming an administrator
Administrators are normally appointed when they are needed if a user is reasonably active and responsible. You may ask for administratorship from a beaurocrat (or for another to get administratorship) if you feel the wiki needs another administrator, but it is unlikely this will happen unless the need is urgent. Some Wikia staff may add staff members in special cases, but this is again unlikely to happen.
