For A list of Equipment, see Category:Items

Equipment are items, trinkets, collectibles, potions, lotions, powders, weapons, shields, armour and other paraphernalia which characters in WAR can use or carry on their person.

The following items have been confirmed to exist in WAR in one form or another:

Characters have access to the following equipment slots:

  • Body
  • Belt
  • Gloves
  • Shoulders
  • Helm
  • Back
  • Tabard
  • Banner
  • Accessory 1
  • Accessory 2
  • Accessory 3
  • Accessory 4
  • Right Hand
  • Left Hand
  • Ranged

These should definitely be considered as subject to change at this stage. It is not yet known if the equipment slots available to a character will be determined by their career.

Characters will have a backpack to store unused equipment. Money (coin) is going to be a generic value, shared among the armies (like in World of Warcraft). Much equipment, however, will be army-specific and only usable by the designated army. For example, the Orc Big Stick of Doom, being an army-specific example item, will only be useable by Greenskins.

[edit] Binding

Some items of equipment will have binding restrictions, determining how much freedom you will have to trade them with other players or merchants. They will be tagged as Bind on Equip (BoE), Bind on Pickup (BoP), or “no binding”. Quest items, Influence Rewards, and Renown store items have all been made BoP.

[edit] No item decay

Items in WAR do not have durability and do not suffer decay as a result of usage. Consequently, no trips to town will be required to repair equipment after a fight.
